Terms & Conditions for SOUTH COAST SURFSCHOOL

  1. Students must respect other participants, follow instructors’ directions, and adhere to surf rules while in the water. Failure to do so may result in expulsion without a refund.

  2. SOUTH COAST SURFSCHOOL is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings or rented equipment.

  3. Users are liable for any damages caused to equipment or third parties.

  4. By signing this form, students declare they have no physical or mental conditions that would impair their ability to engage in this activity safely.

  5. Students acknowledge that surfing is a risky sport that can lead to injuries such as cuts, strains, fractures, or even death.

  6. Students voluntarily waive any claim against the school for injuries sustained during the activity or while using the equipment and facilities.

  7. Students acknowledge that the school holds Civil Liability Insurance and agree not to file any claim exceeding the coverage amount.

  8. Missed classes for personal reasons (illness, injury, etc.) are not refundable but may be rescheduled.

  9. No physical or verbal violence or visible impairment due to drugs or alcohol is allowed. Violation will result in immediate expulsion without refund.

  10. Students, parents, or legal guardians grant the school permission to use, publish, and distribute photographs or audio/video recordings for promotional purposes without compensation.

  11. The following are not allowed to participate:

  • Individuals with heart conditions
  • Pregnant women
  • Children under 8 years old
  • People with chronic illnesses that could interfere with the activity
  1. Students accept the risks of the activity, confirm they have read and understood the school’s general rules, and voluntarily assume all potential risks.

Cancellation Policy

In accordance with Article 10 of Law 34/2002 of July 11, on information society services and electronic commerce (L.S.S.I.), it is stated that Daniel Ortega de Marcos, with tax identification number C.I.F. 42201199V, and address at Pº del Faro, 6, 35100, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Las Palmas, Spain, owns the domain www.southcoastsurfschool.com. These terms and conditions, along with your acceptance upon purchase confirmation, form the contract between you and southcoastsurfschool.com.

Customers may cancel their booking and receive a full refund if the cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the activity. A 50% refund is available for cancellations made 24 hours in advance. No refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the activity.

SOUTH COAST SURFSCHOOL reserves the right to cancel or modify the service due to external factors like adverse weather conditions or any other major hindrance. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

Missed classes due to personal reasons (illness, injury, etc.) are non-refundable but may be rescheduled.

The person making the reservation must be over 18 years old. If attending as a group, this person has informed all group members about the terms and conditions of SOUTH COAST SURFSCHOOL.
